The Architect - Interior Design is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and renovation of interior spaces. Key Responsibilities:
Design and Planning:
- Develop and present interior design concepts that meet client requirements and preferences.

- Select materials, furniture, and finishes that align with the design vision and budget.
Project Management:
- Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Client Interaction:
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Present design proposals and make necessary revisions based on client feedback.
- Provide expert advice on interior design, space planning, and material selection.
Technical and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all design plans comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for building permits and approvals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate best practices into design solutions.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate interior design with overall building design.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and furnishings.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to the project team and clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, preferably within an architectural firm or design studio.
Skills:
- Strong creative and artistic abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
