The Architect or Interior Designer is primarily responsible for assisting with planning of education projects and are required to manage Graduates and Students on smaller projects, tasks and jobs to ensure their seamless delivery at various phases of a project from concept design to documentation.
About the Role
Delivers assigned and overseen project tasks accurately, on brief, on time and on-budget.
Liaises with team members and communicates works in progress and resourcing requirements to Senior Architects, Senior Project Leaders and Associates through effective communication and project management channels.
Develops strong relationships/partnerships with peers.
Ensuring all work is reviewed prior to handing over.
Focus on continuous improvement, contributing to project debriefs and sharing learnings.
To be Successful You Will Need
Demonstrated experience in multiple Educational projects – all sectors from early learning to tertiary.
Experience with public and low-cost independent schools preferred.
Involvement with industry partners such as LEA, or similar preferred.
Further educational studies as an Educational Planner preferable, but not essential.
Ability to lead connection between Educational learning settings and guide interior design.
Computer aided drafting programs (CAD/Revit).
Computer programs: Sketch Up, InDesign, Photoshop, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Acrobat.
