Architectural Draftsperson

Full-time Position | 38 hours per week
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year + Superannuation
Location: Brisbane QLD 4000

The Role
We are seeking a qualified Architectural Draftsperson to support the preparation of detailed drawings and documentation for construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant design outputs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing architectural drawings, working plans, and specifications using CAD software
Translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings for construction
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers on design development
Revising drawings and plans based on feedback, site conditions, and regulatory requirements
Ensuring all documentation complies with relevant Australian Standards and Building Codes
Assisting in preparing development application (DA) and construction documentation
Maintaining drawing registers and version control of project documentation
Identifying and resolve drafting and design inconsistencies
Skills and Experience Required
Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or equivalent
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software
Knowledge of Australian building regulations and construction methods
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Salary and Employment Conditions
Guaranteed annual salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year + Superannuation
Full-time role: 38 hours per week
Salary is consistent with market rates and in line with Australian workplace laws
