AMA Group is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and driven leaders in the automotive smash repair industry for the position of Area Manager – VIC Metro South East. This pivotal leadership role oversees four key sites within our network and plays a central role in driving operational performance and cultural excellence across the region.
About the Role
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and strategic direction of four high-performing repair sites:
RMA Hallam
AMA Collision Mitcham
AMA Collision Moorabbin
RMA Knox
Your focus will be on leading operational success, promoting a safety-first, customer-centric culture, and mentoring site leaders to achieve strong results in efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing day-to-day operations across all four locations
Coaching and developing Site Managers to meet business KPIs
Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and repair turnaround
Managing regional budgets, staffing levels, and workflow
Building strong relationships with insurers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders
Cultivating a high-performance, team-oriented culture
We’re Looking For:
Proven experience managing multiple automotive repair sites or a high-volume workshop
Strong leadership and people management capabilities
Commercially astute, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Willingness to travel across sites regularly (company vehicle provided)
