Designation: Area Sales manager
Experience: 5 To 10 Years
Salary Range: INR 3.60 to 4.80 LPA
Notice Period Required: Immediate joiners required 15 days preferable
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager A candidate must have good communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Sales procedures also will be able to actively discover new ways to do the job more efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for running and handling overall P&L (Profit and Loss) account for Respective Region.
• Responsible for providing sustainable growth to the business by working with existing Team members’ partners.
• Responsible for supporting/managing/guiding existing channel partners, Dealers, Distributors, and wholesalers.
• Responsible for brand building, and new channel development.
• Responsible for achieving project specification targets.
• Responsible for team monthly performance business meetings by visiting key customers to generate new leads or enhance existing opportunities.
• Responsible for self-revenue sales target by opening new markets, developing new product verticals expanding into new channel Verticals.
• Responsible for negotiating contracts to arrive at the best deal for the client and organization. Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base across assigned territories.
• Prepare a comprehensive long-term and short-term business strategy to lead the market.
• Managing a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals.
• A positive and determined approach to research and analyzing market competitors’ activities to explore new business opportunities.
• Create and maintain MSL (minimum stock levels) for assigned territories by understanding product movement in given channels.
• Build a comprehensive market development process by setting-up market-driven pricing, distribution structure, logistics set-up customer care set-up.
• Initiating and managing marketing activities: brand promotion, launch events, exhibitions, customer displays, etc.
• Actively enhance business activities in all three segments namely Project, Retail redistribution by driving region partners team.
• Planning, budgeting, and managing the investments as per the agreed growth plans.
• Meeting top-line expectations within the agreed time frame and resources and keeping a close tab on the bottom line.
• Take accountability for top customers in the assigned region and build strong relationships with key accounts.
