Responsibilities:

As a Area Sales Executive/Manager in the distribution business, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and ensuring efficient product distribution. Responsibilities:
• Sales and Distribution Management:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives within the assigned area.
• Identify and onboard new retailers and wholesalers to expand our distribution network.
• Maintain positive business relationships with existing distributors and customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
• Market Expansion and Penetration:
• Conduct market research/audit to identify potential growth areas, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Introduce our products to new markets and develop strategies to increase market penetration.
• Sales and Inventory Reporting:
• Monitor product sales performance and inventory levels at distribution points.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, inventory status reports, and market feedback to the sales manager.
• Order Management:
• Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse team to ensure timely product delivery.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to retailers and distributors to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
• Address any product-related concerns and provide prompt solutions.
Sales Targets and Performance:
• Set individual sales targets for retailers and wholesalers within the area and monitor their performance.
• Take necessary actions to achieve sales targets and address any underperforming accounts.
• Market Intelligence:
• Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities in the distribution business.
• Use market intelligence to adapt sales strategies and stay ahead in the market.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A diploma with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience of around 5 yearsin sales and distribution, preferably in the distribution business.
• Strong understanding of distribution channels and experience managing retailers and wholesalers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications and sales reporting tools.
• Ability to travel frequently for business purposes
