A new EdTech firm, part of a multibillion dollar conglomerate. An incredible opportunity for a passionate and driven Accounts Payable Executive to join an earlystage medical EdTech product team, backed by a reputed Industry Leader in Education. We are looking for a driven, experienced person to join a newly formed team to oversee Sales.
Key Responsibilities
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and increasing market share in a designated territory. This includes building and managing a team of campus ambassadors, developing and executing sales strategies, and monitoring competition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a passion for education technology.
• Ensure a high volume of sales transactions from the assigned territory
• Build and drive an effective campus ambassador team
• Increase market share by effectively using sales techniques and ensuring maximum coverage
• Increase and churn the campus ambassador network so as to have 360degree presence and rand visibility in each and every college of the region
• Increase institutional partnerships
• Ensure daily cadences and usage of toolsresources
• Monitor competition activities in the assigned region

• The Area Sales Manager must be able to close deals and generate revenue.

Challenges in the Job
• The Area Sales Manager will need to educate the market about the new edtech product and its benefits. This can be a challenge, as MBBS students are typically busy with their studies and may not have time to research new products. The Area Sales Manager will need to find creative ways to reach these students and explain the benefits of the product.
• The Area Sales Manager will need to build relationships with MBBS students and their professors. This can be a challenge, as MBBS students are typically very busy and may not have time to meet with sales representatives. The Area Sales Manager will need to be patient and persistent in order to build relationships with these key decisionmakers.
• The Area Sales Manager will need to be knowledgeable about the product and be able to answer questions about its features and benefits.
Required Skills
• Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the educationEdTech industry.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
