Position : Area Sales Manager – Heating Cooling (Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata)
Job Summary:
Manager Heating Cooling is responsible for All India Sales of all products in defined Segment.
Technical selections, sizing of PHE, selection of construction and type of unit, technical parameters, additional features, comparison with respect to competitors, tender submission, technical discussions, application development, costing, negotiations, trouble shooting, co-ordination with other department like regional sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, purchase etc. keeping in view the statutory guidelines and company policy.
Work with application in industries like HVAC, District cooling, Datacentre, alternate power, system builders in hydraulic, metal forming, compressor, lube oil cooling, steam generation, heat recovery, semi-conductor etc.
Accountabilities:
• Use of CRM for quotation related communication
• In time submission of selections with desired techno-commercial details as and when required
• Order finalization with help of regional team in line with organization guidelines
• Use of VSM, MS SharePoint for internal communication related to order
• Follow MIS for monthly/yearly reports and KPI tracking
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• All India Lead generation, customer visits, business development in given segment
• Key accounts and channel management
• Monthly reports submission as per MIS
• Understanding design, sizing of PHE, selection of construction and type of unit
• Competition information
• Costing and quotation preparation
• Participate in technical discussions
• Work with regions and channel network
• Trouble shooting in post-sales period
• Co-ordination between sales, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, purchase etc.
• Presentations at potential customers
• Winning contract with techno-commercial clarity
Skills/Competencies required:
Knowledge of types of heat exchangers, heat transfer principles, metallurgy, HVAC, presentation, CRM, MS office etc.
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Experience 6-8 years in related area with BE in Mechanical Engineering
