ARF/RhD Clinical Nurse
The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a qualified ARF/RhD Clinical Nurse to join our team.
About the Role:
The ARF/RhD Clinical Nurse will support our organisation to increase workforce capacity and implement strategies that are culturally responsive, evidence-based, and sustainable for the management of Acute Rheumatic Fever (ARF) and Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD).
Key Responsibilities:
Embed standardised processes for ARF/RHD management including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care, and care coordination of people living with RhD.
Support the development of a comprehensive RHD strategy.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse or Midwife qualification.
Experience in primary health care and community-based services.
Strong understanding of cultural safety and responsiveness principles.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
