As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will conduct routine rounds, document observations, and support a welcoming client and customer experience while maintaining required weapons credentials. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Carry and maintain assigned firearm and other authorized equipment in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and/or Allied Universal policies.
Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or law enforcement when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, communicating relevant updates to site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
A CPR Certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
