Armed Security Guard - near Thousand Oaks
Absolute International Security (AIS) is a licensed Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Private Patrol Operator (State Lic. PPO 16302) that provides security services spanning the greater Los Angeles Area, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Due to our rapid growth and the increasing number of client accounts, we are now looking for professional BSIS-certified Security Officers to join our team. Our office is located at 5155 Irwindale Ave., Irwindale, CA 91706 and our phone number is (626) 858-7188.
NOW HIRING Armed Security Officers (Good Driver Records)
Pay range: $19.00 - 20.00
We welcome walk-ins to come in Monday-Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm. Please be prepared and bring your Original Certifications with you (no copies)!
We are looking for reliable and responsible ARMED Guards in LA County. Preferred candidates have at least (1) year of Armed Security or Law Enforcement or Military experience.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must have a valid Firearm Permit for this position.
• Must obtain ORIGINAL certificates for required permits and certifications
ITEMS TO BRING TO YOUR INTERVIEW:
• California ID/DL
• Security Guard Card
• Pepper Spray Card
• Baton Card
• CPR Card
• Armed Permit and Dealer Record of Sale (with Fire Weapon)
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Safely Patrol an assigned area for any safety or security risks
• Monitor CCTV Cameras
• Respond to reported incidents as necessary
• Maintain a log of any activities
• Document any visitors to the property
• Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary
• Maintain client relationships
• Properly document incidents
• Must be able to communicate effectively and be able to provide excellent customer service
• Armed Officers carry lethal to less lethal equipment for de-escalation and defensive purposes
• Other duties as assigned per post.
Pay range: $22.00 - 23.00
