ABOUT THE ROLE:

Location: Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Locations
Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
24/7 availability
Pay rate at Level 2
Armed Guard endorsement on security license
Current Category H Handgun License
Experience is not required

Wilson Security is expanding in the VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting with emergency situations via CCTV until resources has been deployed
Access control management and Alarm/fire monitoring – ensuring site compliance is always adhered to
Communications with Emergency services and Police - when required
Maintaining Security & Visitor logbooks, Weapons register and Lost/Found register
Writing daily activity reports into the reporting system.
Competent in use of MS computer systems
Competent use of security software such as Gallagher, Genetec and Tecom electronic security systems will be highly regarded
Provide excellent customer service

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Australian Citizen or Full working rights
Armed Guard endorsement on security license
Current Category H Handgun License
Current valid Driver’s license (Have your own transport)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Must have 24/7 flexibility to work a rotating roster – 12 hr shifts
Excellent communication skills and Customer service experience
Police checks and other background checks are also required
