As a Armed Security Officer Corporate Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or contractors while following site protocols for restricted areas and sensitive locations.
Support emergency preparedness activities by assisting with de-escalation, directing people during urgent events, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity according to post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
