The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants. Within it, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around +,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations. We are a diverse workforce with a range of roles and are delighted to advertise this driver positions in 20 Transport Squadron Royal Logistics Corps (RLC), based at Regents Park Barracks, London.

Job description
Duties include:
This coach-driving role primarily involves transporting London District Army Personnel to and from Military Establishments or training locations, but may also include transportation to high-profile events and ceremonies. Duties will often include early mornings or late nights, so flexibility is a key requirement for the post. Whilst the majority of driving tasks will be in the London area, you may occasionally be required to drive further, in accordance with drivers hours regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
Person specification
A driver employed within 20 Tpt Sqn RLC is expected to be able to drive any vehicle specified within the licences held:
• Drive all types of light vehicles, Category B (Essential).
• Drive passenger Carrying Vehicles, D and D1 (Essential).
• Drive various types of large goods vehicles, Category C and C1(Desirable).
This is a permanent positions of 37 hrs net per week. Flexibility is needed to work if required some early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
