Job Description
During your initial three-month probationary period, we will provide training and review your performance on a monthly basis. Upon successful completion of the training to a satisfactory level, you may be offered a permanent position.
Requirements:
Interest and basic knowledge of Japanese art and culture
Basic knowledge and understanding of web development coding languages such as JavaScript, PHP, and/or Python.
Proficient IT skills, including MS Office, Google Suite, and online marketplace product uploads
Other desirable skills and responsibilities include:
Experience managing website content, basic CMS platforms, and digital catalogues
Familiarity with image editing software (e.g. Photoshop) for resizing and preparing artwork images
Confident use of email platforms, cloud-based file management, and digital record keeping
Processing newly acquired stock and maintaining accurate digital inventories
Providing a high standard of in-person and online customer service
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Providing general administrative support
Dispatching orders worldwide and generating shipping documentation
Providing production and logistical support for gallery events and activities
Intermediate level of Japanese language
