Hello!
I am a Canadian artist working in Vancouver, BC.
I am creating a model outside of the gallery system where I would work with an individuals in a city who would be my art dealer, selling prints and originals on a local level. I have had great success lately in Vancouver and I want your help to reproduce it in Calgary!
I am super excited to explain more but I have to check if you have these skills first – because it's the essential work:
Stretched a canvas before and have handled art
Using Facebook, Market Place, and Facebook Messenger.
Basic bookkeeping and handle petty cash
Online banking and paypal
Access to a car
Helpful but less-essential skills:
Wood working, framing
Current student or BFA in a type of Visual Arts
Experience in retail, gallery, or customer service
Photography
Promotion
This position involves:
Woodworking, building custom size wood stetchers and mounting canvas
photographing artwork & online marketing
Direct sales, artwrok transportation, and art dealing
Estimated Composition $1500 to 2000 a month
