Art teachers at our school help guide students through a series of art classes, providing individualized instruction and assistance. The right candidate will have a background in art and a passion for helping children develop their artistic talents. We're looking for someone who can commit to the high standards of our school, including upholding the high level of excellence we have in art while interacting with students in a friendly and encouraging manner.
Responsibilities:
Plan lessons that fulfill curricular requirements.
Teach students art skills, methods, and terms.
Manage class and prevent disruptions.
Maintain a positive environment in the classroom.
Provide individualized instruction.
Give feedback to students.
For Sunday morning program, with opportunity to grow portfolio of private bookings throughout the week if desired.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
