Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and learning styles.
Teach a variety of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
Organise art exhibitions or showcases to display student work and celebrate their achievements.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate new ideas into the classroom.
Qualifications
A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience teaching art at the primary or secondary level is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of various artistic techniques and mediums.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
A creative mindset with a passion for fostering artistic talent in others.
Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining discipline.
