Salary: ₹5,000 + upto ₹20% of every project per month (salary hike after 6 months based on performance and results)
About the Role
RADA® (Richard’s Academy of Dance & Arts), founded by Richard D’Costa – a professional performer, singer-songwriter, and choreographer with over 19 years of industry experience – is looking for a passionate Artist Manager / Business Development Executive to join our creative team.
This role is ideal for someone who loves dance, music, and entertainment, and wants to help grow a well-established creative brand that’s expanding its footprint across Mumbai and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Business Growth
Generate leads for wedding sangeet choreography, corporate shows, and stage events.
Build connections with wedding planners, corporate event agencies, and production companies.
Identify and pitch potential opportunities that align with RADA®’s brand and artistic vision.
Assist in creating employment opportunities and collaborations within the dance company.
2. Dance Academy Growth & Student Acquisition
Strategise and execute campaigns to increase student footfall for RADA®’s regular batches and workshops across Mumbai.
Develop creative marketing strategies (social media collaborations, influencer tie-ups, local partnerships) to attract genuine students who value authentic dance training.
Identify and connect with communities and audiences that appreciate traditional, technique-based dance education.
3. Music & Artist Management
Pitch Richard D’Costa and his live band for lounge gigs, open mics, and unplugged nights across Mumbai’s club and pub circuit.
Build relationships with venue owners, artist curators, and entertainment bookers.
Gradually explore opportunities for international shows, live performances, and collaborations.
4. Strategy & Coordination
Work directly with Richard D’Costa to brainstorm ideas, create pitch decks, and plan collaborations.
Support overall brand building, artist representation, and client relationship management.
Handle correspondence, proposals, and follow-ups with potential clients or partners.
Ideal Candidate
Background in arts management, event management, or business development (preferred).
Strong communication and networking skills.
Good understanding of social media and entertainment marketing.
Self-motivated, organized, and genuinely passionate about dance and music.
Willing to grow with the company long-term and take ownership of projects.

Compensation Structure
This is a performance-based role offering a fixed monthly salary of ₹5,000 along with project-based incentive commissions. The selected candidate will earn a percentage of revenue from each event, project, or deal successfully converted (such as wedding sangeets, corporate shows, or artist bookings) which is up to 20% of every project approximately.
The commission percentage varies depending on the project scale and budget, and the detailed incentive structure will be explained during the in-person interview upon profile shortlisting.
