Job Description
This position is pending approval of Funding from Canada Summer Jobs and is open to candidates 15 to 30 years of age
Responsibilities include:
Music library digitization and cataloguing including metadata such as composer, arranger, instrumentation, and performance history.
Scanning and cataloging of historical documents, photos, programs, and other legacy materials.
Capturing, editing and preparing high-quality content for WSB social platforms
Creating a centralized instrument inventory database
Assisting the General Manager and Board of Directors with donor development activities, including database updates, contact list management, and stewardship tasks.
Providing general administrative support to the General Manager, Board committees, and volunteers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
A background in classical / concert band / brass band music or arts administration would be an asset. Location of employment: this position includes a combination of on-site work at WSB concerts in the GTA, library catalogue at our rehearsal location in Weston, and work-from-home online tasks.
