Deutsche Bank International Private Bank (IPB) – APAC Product COO
Within IPB APAC, COO team plays constructive role in partnering with “Advisory & Sales, Product Platforms & Sustainable Solutions” products in Asia Pacific for driving Key Business initiatives and RTB activities (such as Business Integrity & Business Management activities). The function ensures adherence to the risk & control governance framework in line with Regulatory requirements / Internal policies /Audit standards; also involving front to back review of processes and scaling up of controls to address the gaps that are self-identified or highlighted by Regulators.
IPB APAC COO Role Description
IPB APAC product COO role is an extension of Singapore team and supports wider APAC COO team; with functional reporting line in Mumbai.
The scope of the role will be an amalgamation of Business Management activities along with support for control framework execution.

Your key responsibilities
Business Management
Support various location and business governance meetings
General business support (upkeep of org charts, user review and reconciliation around PA trading, voice recording, training, CPD, and MAS/ HKMA licencing, support New Hire onboarding/ seating, sharepoint/ intranet management, cost centre management etc.)
Maintain desk operating procedures
Provide analytical support to Product COO and assist with overall business strategyIndependently run financial data (familiar with MS Excel macros) to generate monthly reporting dashboards for the business
Address ad-hoc requests from the Business regarding the financial data and its relevant output according to business needs
Business Controls / Review
Perform control testing on marketing materials, transactions to be in line with various regulations (e.g. Best Execution, IPO/ New Issue Allocation rules)
Support MTA, GSS, Cross Border Travels and other control process and reviews
Product Support/ Controls
Provide support for Global Product Governance
Support cross-asset product initiatives (including product risk classification, product due diligence)
Business Controls : FX Trade controls and ESG controls
Your skills and experience
Person with post/graduate level degree and analytical skills
For Associate, minimum 3yrs banking experience (in Wealth Management preferably)
Knowledge in WM investment products (FX, Structured Products, Equities, Bonds, Funds, DPM
Knowledge in the risk/ assurance space an advantage
Meticulous and detail-oriented, and proficient with statistical analysis and preparing charts and graphs
Proficient in MS Office applications (excel, powerpoint, word), macro -
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across Business, Risk and Finance
Strong communication skills with ability to clearly articulate one’s viewpoints/ blockers / challenges
Good team player, independent and reliable
