Responsibilities
• Manage IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS) 9.4, including agent installation, monitoring, and backups.
• Troubleshoot P1 and P2 middleware application issues using WAS logs on Unix 7.1.
• Execute scripts for Oracle, AIX, SQL, .Net, Web Services, and Java software.
• Provide L1/L2 support for job monitoring and resolve failed batch jobs or system errors.
• Maintain operational run books and produce daily system status reports.
Required Skills
• Hands-on administration of Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS).
• Comprehensive understanding of AS/400 and AIX operations.
• Experience with zOS JCPL, JCPL Prep, TSO/ISPF, and Mainframe (IBM zSeries).
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux, Windows, CA-7, and Control-M.
• Knowledge of IBM DS8000 storage arrays and IBM TS7700 virtual tape grids.
• Experience with .Net, Web Services, and Java software environments.
• Proven ability to create batch job processing projects in TWS.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with ITIL processes.
