Ashurst Reach is Ashurst's dedicated flexible legal resourcing platform which provides the firm's clients and Practice Groups within the firm with access to a high quality talent pool of lawyers and paralegals. We understand that our clients need access to highly qualified lawyers and paralegals, often at short notice and/or for short periods, whether that be to meet internal client demands, backfill leave, provide cover during recruitment or to assist with specialised projects. We deliver a seamless, fast and trusted solution to these issues.
The Opportunity:
One of our external clients is seeking a law student or experienced paralegal for a role within their Melbourne team, working in the investment sector. Details are as follows:
12 months (with possibility of extension for maximum of 6 months)
2-3 days per week (with flexibility to suit the individual, if required)
Melbourne (on site preferred)
About You:
You are a law student or an experienced paralegal
You have exceptional organisational and co-ordination skills
You have an interest in learning more about corporate commercial legal processes
You have an interest in being involved in back-end transaction work supporting a team by managing deal execution processes
You have an interest in providing support in areas such as NDAs and government procurement
You have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise
You have the ability to understand and adapt to the needs of the business
You are an Australian citizen
