About the Role

The People Support Officer plays a crucial role delivering world-class customer service and administrative services.

This includes resolving customer enquiries and applications through a multi-channel approach, while supporting the efficient delivery of wider People and Culture functions across the department.

The role works in a frontline customer service delivery environment, interacting with customers via telephone and other channels.

Responsibilities include working within a team to meet customer needs, adhering to work schedules, providing correct and timely advice on People and Culture related matters, conducting research, preparing complex documents, managing records, and processing transactions accurately and promptly.

This position also offers advice and services to designated workgroups, clients, and stakeholders, and provides project or program support to achieve People & Culture objectives and goals.

Qualifications

No essential qualifications are required for this role.

A tertiary qualification relevant to human resources or equivalent experience is desirable.

Special Conditions

The successful applicant must gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed.

This check is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will also be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which will need to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

ASO3 $67,58+ - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
