About the Role:

The Contracts Cleaning Officer supports the effective delivery of contract cleaning services across the department. The Officer provides administrative and coordination support across a range of contract cleaning activities. Assisting with documentation, maintaining records, preparing reports, and supporting the implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

The Contracts Cleaning Officer will assist in providing timely and accurate support to the Team Leader, Compliance Officer, and Procurement and Contracts Officers on contract cleaning matters. The officer plays a key role in ensuring the effective operation of the Contract Cleaning team and actively supports continuous improvement through efficient and organised administrative practices. The Contracts Cleaning Officer will work under limited supervision with strong guidance and support to ensure all documentation and activities comply with the department’s Procurement Framework and Treasurer’s Instruction 18.

Special Conditions:

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:

ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
