We are growing our team and are on the lookout for a Furniture Assembler / Factory Hand. This role is for Full-Time or Part-Time work, based at our factory in the Western suburbs of Victoria.

Working on a rotating roster, working days will be set based on business needs between Monday and Friday. Standard working hours will be 8.00am to 4.00pm
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for completing daily duties, including:
Breakdown of inward goods and arranging storage
Picking of stock, pallet wrapping and readying stocked goods for dispatch
Basic assembly of commercial furniture items, including using manual tools and electric tools
Maintaining a clean working environment
Required skills and attributes
Mandatory
Fluent in English
Must have proven experience with, and be competent in, the assembly of commercial furniture items
Preferred
Experience with picking stock from storage
Basic computer knowledge
Holder of a Forklift License (or willing to complete during employment)
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to:
Be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Must be able to work unsupervised and use initiative
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
Physically fit and able to manually handle, or use tools and equipment, to move bulky or heavy items
