Assembly Operator
Job Description
Manufacture the organization's products according to production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.
• Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Load materials into production machines in a timely and efficient manner.
• Remove, pack, and sort raw materials or finished products.
• Collect, and dispose of garbage and production waste according to the organization's waste removal and recycling policies.
• Clean production equipment and work areas to ensure adherence to health and safety requirements.
Work complexity and business impact: Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. Problems are typically non-routine and require analysis to understand.
Geographical scope: local
Typical minimum relevant experience required: 3-5 years. Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience.
