Assembly Technician
About the Role
Location India Gujarat Ahmedabad Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Compression Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Early Professional

Your profile
• ·Independently carry out sub-assemblies of compressor components and Main mockup assemblies of compressor following assembly Drawings/ Diagrams, procedures and instructions.
• ·To study Bills of Material – Single Level & Multi level Bills and accordingly plan/carry out activities.
• ·Carry out stage inspections as per quality plan and maintain reports, check lists and History card/records.
• ·Inspect components for quality requirements before assembly, inform supervisor in case of quality issue.
• ·To support Assembly Supervisor for Testing of Compressor as per defined procedure
• ·Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness at working area. Work Station Planning and proper material arrangement
• ·Keep the track of production schedules and take necessary steps to meet timelines.
• ·Suggest methods to minimize / eliminate unproductive works and rework in shop activities.
• ·Maintain & systems in the department. Strictly adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Your Qualification
• ·ITI – Min. 10 years / Diploma Mechanical – 3 to 5 Years
• ·Hands on Experience of Reciprocating Compressor Assemblies or Centrifugal Compressor Assemblies
• ·Component drawing/procedure reading and understanding of technical requirements and understanding of dimensional & geometrical tolerances.
• ·Knowledge & hands on use of Measuring Instruments & Gauges
• ·Experience of using New Generation Pneumatic & Hydraulic tools
• ·Understanding of Quality Check lists and History card/records.
• ·Knowledge of Assembly and Machine leveling & alignment, run-out checking etc using gauges and instruments like spirit level, dial indicator etc
• ·Problem Solving and proactive planning skills
• ·Ability to work as active member of a team
• ·Safe Handling and Loading/Unloading techniques of Heavy Components.
• ·Basic knowledge of QMS – ISO +000 , 14001, 18000
• ·Know-how of Workshop Safety aspects and 6S
• ·Awareness of Industrial Safety Rules
