Job Summary
The Asset Coordinator is responsible for efficient management of IT and non‑IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including allocation, de‑allocation, tracking, and inventory management. The role requires understanding of the IMAC process and close collaboration with teams to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date asset records using systems like Summit or similar tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Allocate and de‑allocate assets to employees, departments, and projects as per organizational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of all asset transactions, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure physical assets match system records.
• Document all asset movements (receiving, transferring, disposing) in the tracking system.
• Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal with accurate data entry.
• Ensure all assets are tagged and identifiable throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain and update asset records in Summit or equivalent systems.
• Generate and review asset reports for audits, status checks, and discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits related to asset management.
• Ensure new assets are received, logged, and categorized correctly.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in asset management, inventory management, or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with asset management systems (preferably Summit or similar).
• Strong knowledge of asset allocation, de‑allocation, and inventory tracking.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
