Job Description
As a Vendor Management and Outsourcing Governance Lead, you will collaborate cross functionally across Asset Management and support the development and execution of the governance framework that will support senior management in discharge of their prescribed responsibilities per local regulations for outsourcing including working with Governance teams for the Third-Party Oversight (TPO) / Inter-Affiliate Oversight (IAO) framework.
Job Responsibilities :
Execution of a risk-based oversight model for the Asset Management EMEA Outsourcing Governance Function including managing the Outsourcing Governance Framework, updating the Charter, Policy Supplement, prepare and review oversight processes and procedures, supplier risk analysis, supplier concentration risk reporting, managing conflicts of interest, providing regulatory remediation and implementation support, including gap analysis, and many such tasks.
Facilitations of the Outsourcing Governance Forum: preparing meeting agenda, executive summary, meeting material incorporating standard reports, market updates, firm-wide program changes, regulatory updates, along with recording, tracking actions and drafting minutes.
Work with stakeholders across - Business, Functions and Global Supplier Services to ensure the quality of the information contained within the Outsourcing Register. Accountable for the periodic reviews of outsourcing metrics, inventories, and where applicable regulatory reports, for completeness and accuracy.
Represent the business in the Business Control Committees, Audit Risk and Compliance Committees and Legal Entity steering committees, where required, for all items related to outsourcing.
Preparing, facilitating, and engaging with - Business, Compliance, Control Management, Corporate TPO / IAO Governance Team, and other pertinent functions, in relation to any regulatory exam or request, external audit, internal audit or compliance testing pertaining to outsourcing.
Steer automation, innovative thinking, and design solutions to derive insights from the data variables with regards to outsourcing and syndicate the outcomes with stakeholders.
Ensure that Legal Entity risks, impacts or issues, including changes to engagement materiality and degradation of performance is escalated to the Outsourcing Governance Forum.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Have at least 12+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Regulatory Implementation, Compliance, Control Management, Risk Management, Governance and Oversight.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and data collection / aggregation skills; ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in any format.
Exceptional consensus building and influence skills, possesses the ability to achieve a common understanding and agreement across groups with differing perspectives.
Technology savvy, advanced use of desktop tools (MS Excel, Word, Power Point) for analytical and presentation purposes. Numeracy skills with an ability to develop and interpret metrics.
Proactive and positive attitude, commitment to continuous learning, analytical and problem-solving skills, inquisitive nature, and comfortable challenging current practices.
Ability to get things done in a dynamic and fast paced environment and effectively multi-task and Have the willingness and flexibility to be hands-on as needed and to take on ad hoc tasks outside of their main responsibilities.
Project Management skillset with a delivery focus, and have excellent organization skills including time management.
