Job Responsibilities :
Support multiple product types (e.g. equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, listed option, derivatives, private equity, hedge funds, mutual funds) for both Domestic and International markets
Review and action front to back reconciliation results to resolve breaks
Manage exceptions arising as events flow through multiple control checks
Timely and accurate execution and verification of all instructions received from internal partners and global teams. Respond promptly and accurately to Front Office requests
Ensure adherence to all service level commitments, process controls, and escalation policies
Work closely with teammates to maximize efficiency
Proactively focus on issues and adjust rapidly to changes in the team, the market, or Wealth management to deliver sound recommendations for process improvement
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities :
4 to 6 years of Banking / Cash Product / Securities / Processing experience in financial services environment. (Preferable Corporate Actions / Asset Servicing Experience)
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Assume ownership and responsibility to accomplish goals
Strong intellectual capacity for process improvements
This role requires meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to manage operations in absence of Process Manager.
An acute awareness of the high risk, time critical and complex nature of the Asset & Wealth Management Ops environment, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through
Client focused and Client engagement
Good time management skills
Uses initiative & readily questions
Must be very detailed oriented.
Knowledge of Investment products.
Knowledge of the operating and compliance standards and audit requirements of the department
Banking Operations experience required, Private Banking operations experience would be beneficial.
Ensuring documentation is updated at all times
Taking process trainings for new joiners
Handling process queries escalation
Driving process improvements
Building synergies across processes
Fair People management
Ensuring MIS are completed as per the deadlines
