Responsibilities
You will assist or lead audit engagements covering Asset Wealth Management functions including risk assessment, audit planning, audit testing, control evaluation, documenting work papers, audit report drafting and follow-up and verification of issue closure.
Meet timeframe and budget targets for assigned audit work, whilst adhering to department and professional standards and utilizing consistent methodology.
You will partner with other groups and regions within Audit to ensure the delivery of a seamless program of audit coverage across the firm.
Establish and maintain a business climate and culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence and innovation.
Be prepared to travel to locations internationally (up to 10%) and adjust work timings, as needed, to support global teams
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a financial services firm, with an audit or risk/control background, experience of and exposure to Asset Management and/or Wealth Management business.
Ability to lead audits and execute audit work remotely, work effectively within a matrix organization, manage multiple projects and participate in audit assignments in a team environment.
Proficiency in risk assessment, issue/impact analysis and executive report preparation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and works well individually and in teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation.
