THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Senior Project Accountant, this role will support the financial, accounting and cost management activities of the Midstream Project. The role will be responsible for the day-to-day cost tracking, cost administration, correct coding of all project transactions, and will support in monthly cost reporting.
This is a Maximum-term role based at our beautiful West Perth office, near the City West train station.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain project cost registers and track actuals vs budgets.
Support month‑end journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
Assist with monthly cost reports, forecasts, and variance updates.
Review and code invoices and POs accurately in iTrack.
Keep cost documentation, variation logs, and cash flow data updated.
Liaise with Project Engineers to validate cost inputs.
Escalate non‑compliance with cost control processes when required.
Provide general project accounting and admin support as needed.
ABOUT YOU:
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
3–5 years’ experience in finance or project support, ideally within resources or construction.
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Knowledge of cost control or project accounting concepts (desirable).
ERP experience—Pronto highly regarded but not essential.
A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
