Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate all banquet events, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
Supervise banquet staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that meet client specifications while adhering to food safety regulations.
Manage inventory and ordering of supplies necessary for events.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Utilize POS systems for tracking orders and managing payments effectively.
Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within the food industry or hospitality sector.
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and kitchen operations.
Experience with bartending is a plus; familiarity with beverage service is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
Familiarity with event planning processes and logistics is advantageous.
