Temporary full-time up to 31 December 2026 (35 hours per week) opportunity
Office location - PARRAMATTA - 4PSQ / Sydney CBD office / Hybrid working supported
Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $+7,027 to $107,05+ + plus employer's contribution to superannuation

About the role

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for an Assistant Communications Officer to work as part of the team that promotes our beautiful national parks and experiences to visitors, and contributes towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage.

You will work in a team responsible for sourcing, developing and delivering consumer communications across a range of platforms including e-newsletters, travel and lifestyle media activity and social media for campaigns and activities.


About You

Skills required for the role include strong copywriting skills, experience liaising with media and responding to enquiries, ability to develop reports on communication success and strong stakeholder skills.


Essential Requirements

Tertiary qualification and relevant experience demonstrating the skills required in consumer communications across multiple channels
Experience in travel or lifestyle media (desirable)
