Working Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term time only +:30am – 1:30pm
Worker Type: Onsite worker
Salary: £24,7+0 - £25,584 per annum (pro rata £10,771.31, Level one, rising to £11,465.41, Level two, and £11,64+.+2, Level three)

About The Role
As an Assistant Cook you will work alongside the Catering Supervisor to assist with the preparation and serving of school meals. The successful applicant will also be responsible at times for the day to day running of the school kitchen in the absence of the Catering Supervisor.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in food preparation including vegetables and sauces
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations and their application in the kitchen
• Knowledge of good customer care practice and experience of working in a customer focused environment
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
