Job Description
We are looking for a Design / PD Manager to join our growing team. The person should be a self-driven individual with an ability to hustle. A person who can juggle multiple roles at a time and be ready for any adverse condition.
Job location - Ahmedabad
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the design process from concept to completion while ensuring alignment on priorities and direction
- Research the up-to-date of the industry, seasonal trends by identifying consumer relevant opportunities research to create high quality trends and styles
- Create and present design boards for each season showcasing silhouette, fabric, and print, pattern, colour range
- Sketching designs and creating flats/tech packs
- Ensures that product is consistent with market trends and business strategy
- Ensure product is being designed within cost parameters
- Work on seasonal calendar, assortment plan, fitting sessions
- Partner with merchandising to assort lines and develop products appropriate for business needs.
What you need:
- 0-1 year of design experience, preferable in womenswear/knitwear/activewear
- Proficient sketching in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to manage the team and monitor their performance
- Strong problem-solving skills along with ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Strong design and conceptual skills
- College degree in Fashion Design preferable NIFT, Pearl or other fashion institutes
- Preferable work experience from companies like Inditex, H&M, M&S, Puma, Adidas, Nike, Myntra, Shahi, Columbia Sportswear, PVH, VF corp, etc.
