Skills and Competencies
Strong technical expertise in third-party risk management, supplier risk, AML/financial crime compliance or enterprise risk data solutions
Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, including end-to-end data workflow design and multi-source integration
Deep understanding of structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON, XML and CSV, with strong field mapping capability
Experience designing and supporting RESTful API integrations including authentication models and payload structuring
Advanced analytical capability with strong understanding of data models, identifiers and large-scale analytics environments
Ability to translate complex technical architecture into clear commercial value propositions
Strong written and verbal communication skills across both business and IT stakeholders
Willingness to travel up to 20% of time across Australia and NZ
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance or related discipline required
Postgraduate qualifications in data science, analytics or business are desirable
Responsibilities
Architect and position technically robust risk and data solutions to support sales growth across Australia’s Corporate and Government segments.
Sales & Technical Solution Architecture (45%)
Partner with Sales Specialists and Client Relationship Managers to design scalable solution architectures aligned to client use cases
Analyse client data environments and propose optimal integration methods including APIs and secure file transfers
Conduct data discovery sessions to understand schema requirements and ingestion workflows
Develop solution diagrams outlining data flows and system interoperability
Lead technical components of RFIs and RFPs
Lead Proof of Concept engagements including integration testing
Data Integration & Analytics Expertise (25%)
Map Moody’s data fields to client systems ensuring alignment across identifiers and risk indicators
Support API integrations including JSON payload structuring and schema alignment
Interpret and manipulate structured and semi-structured datasets
Advise on data governance, validation and transformation processes
Corporate & Government Market Engagement (15%)
Act as technical SME across Australian Corporate and Government accounts
Translate regulatory drivers into solution-led engagement strategies
Participate in executive and technical stakeholder meetings
Internal Enablement & Product Feedback (15%)
Deliver enablement sessions on technical positioning of integration capabilities
Provide market feedback to Product Management
Develop technical playbooks and architecture reference materials
About the Team
The Corporate & Government Solutions team supports Australia’s largest enterprises, critical infrastructure providers and government agencies. The team designs data-driven risk intelligence solutions and partners closely with Industry Practice Leads to deliver technically executable, commercially viable outcomes.
