We want you to be able to grow your career at Guardian in the direction you choose. Becoming an Assistant Director at Essendon means that you will be part of the vital relationship between Educators, families, and children, working daily to put smiles on young faces.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards it)
Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a leadership role or in a management role.
Can work Full time and flexible in shifts.
Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
Good knowledge regarding the 11-child safe standards and child protection
Budget and financial accountability experience (including Labour cost experience)
Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and valid Working with Children check for VIC state.

Supporting the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe and secure environment where children are supported to be brave, curious, and imaginative in their learning.
