Role Details:
The Department for Child Protection is offering an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to build a career in human resources, employee relations, investigations, law or public administration. Based in Adelaide, the Assistant Employee Relations and Investigations Officer works within the People and Culture Directorate and supports experienced practitioners across ER and Investigations. You will gain exposure to misconduct matters, case coordination, reporting, documentation and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute to safe and fair workplace processes and develop their skills in a supportive, fast paced environment.
In this role, you will
Assist with coordinating non-complex staff conduct matters and support the resolution of workplace issues under the guidance of senior team members.
Draft routine correspondence such as investigation notices, information requests and general enquiries, and help manage the Employee Relations mailbox by triaging and escalating urgent matters.
