Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to support engineering operations across high-tech industrial projects in the Phoenix area. This is designed for entry-level candidates or recent graduates who are eager to develop their technical and project management skills in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of engineering deliverables under the guidance of the Manager.
• Technical Review: Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure project alignment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with QA/QC and Safety teams to ensure all work meets project standards and safety regulations.
• Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project flow.
• Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress, schedules, and deliverables; provide regular updates to management.
• Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues and field coordination challenges.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.), Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience; recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (CAD experience is a plus).
• Communication: Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with international stakeholders and local teams.
• Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Work Environment
• Mobility: Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate active, large-scale construction sites for up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Stamina: Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing of ladders or scaffolding.
• PPE Compliance: Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, high-visibility vests, and cleanroom suits.
• Environment: Exposure to industrial construction environments, including varying temperatures and noise levels.
Additional Requirements
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from the Phoenix project site.
• Availability to work occasional overtime or weekends based on project milestones.
