Assistant Event Coordinator
As an Event Coordinator Intern at K1 Speed Rogers, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of events hosted at our facility. This hybrid position offers flexibility, with some work performed on-site at K1 Speed Rogers and other tasks completed remotely. You will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of events, managing bookings, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Event Planning and Coordination:
• Assist in organizing and executing various events, including corporate gatherings, birthday parties, and group outings.
• Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all event details are accurately managed, including scheduling, setup, and catering if needed.
• Booking Management:
• Support the event booking process by handling inquiries, processing reservations, and maintaining detailed records.
• Follow up with potential clients and provide information on event packages, pricing, and availability.
• Utilize CRM software to track and manage event leads and bookings.
• On-Site Support:
• Attend and assist with events at the K1 Speed Rogers facility, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
• Provide on-site support for setup, event execution, and breakdown.
• Remote Work Responsibilities:
• Perform administrative tasks, such as responding to emails, updating event documentation, and managing scheduling from a remote location.
• Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities for new events.
• Grassroots marketing by traveling and making stops at businesses that could be potential clients.
• Attending networking events
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in both in-person and remote environments.
• Previous experience in event planning or customer service is a plus but not required.
