Key Responsibilities:
• Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, setup, and breakdown, to ensure seamless execution
• Support to Event Manager: Aid the Event Manager in managing event schedules, budgets, resources, and team coordination
• Team Supervision: Help oversee event staff and volunteers, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities for successful event operations
• Attendee Engagement: Interact with event attendees, providing information and enhancing their overall experience
• Promotional Support: Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials to effectively market events
• Event Monitoring: Monitor event activities, address issues as they arise, and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly
• Administrative Duties: Provide administrative support by preparing reports, tracking event performance, and maintaining event-related documentation
• Collaborative Strategy Development: Work with the team to develop and implement event strategies that align with brand goals and objectives
Qualifications:
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse audience
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, with a talent for multitasking and managing multiple priorities
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules
• Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in event planning and management, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Experience & Education: Previous experience in event planning or management is a plus but not required. A degree in event management, marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory
