Assistant Event Manager

Our aim is to reduce and divert waste away from landfills, build awareness and inspire positive climate action.As Assistant Manager with our Events team, you will be instrumental in managing our Zero Waste Events projects. Apply for this role if you have work experience at events, enjoy being on ground and care deeply about our environment.Key responsibilities:Client servicing: Build and maintain strong, meaningful relationships with clients. Focus on understanding their needs and deliver exceptional service.Project planning and execution: Lead comprehensive planning, coordination and execution of our Zero Waste services for events. Define project timelines, allocate tasks and manage resources to ensure seamless delivery.Stakeholder management: Collaborate with multiple vendors to ensure ethical, efficient and timely execution of project tasks. Proactively address and resolve any challenges that arise.Volunteer and Ground Staff Management: Manage and coordinate on-site staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth operations throughout the event.Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed project reports, expense documentation, and regular updates for both internal teams and external clients. Collect and analyze feedback and insights post-event to drive continuous improvement.Apply for this, if you:Have 2 to 4 years prior experience in managing client based projects in the events or shoots industryPossess strong project management and people skillsEnjoy planning projects, managing teams and handling diverse clients and stakeholdersDemonstrate a proactive, go-getter attitude, with leadership abilities and good communication skillsAre organized, process-driven and thrive in fast-paced on-ground projectsEnjoy being on-ground at project sites, and are eager to engage in hands-on, impactful workHave basic working knowledge of design tools like Canva and project management tools like Google Suite and AsanaCare deeply about our environment and are committed to creating positive climate actionLocation: This role is open for Mumbai-based candidates only.
