ACQUIRE is based in Udyog Vihar Phase 1 - Gurgoan / Gurugram and is committed to quality craftsmanship and visionary ingenuity.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Gurugram for an Assistant Fashion Designer. The Assistant Fashion Designer will support day-to-day tasks such as working on designs with pattern masters, embroidery, assisting in the development of fashion design concepts, conducting fittings, and working with various textiles. The role involves collaborating with the design team to bring creative ideas to life and helping ensure design rules are maintained.
Exact Scope of Work
Consumer alignment:
Understand the consumers of ACQUIRE - why specific silhouettes work, what kind of details, functionalities, materials, details etc.
Design:
Take direction from brand guidelines and leadership. Produce and implement technical patterns and designs from references, sketches and research given. Be open to travel to improve our textile weaver relationships or endeavours.
Graphic:
Support produce graphic / digital endeavours and coordinate with the graphic design - when there is an integration of fashion design ir sketches
Production:
Coordinate on ground to fulfil sampling, collection development and production
Other objects:
Support sourcing and regional producers for accessories / items the brand will partner with [design support where required]
Communication:
Coordinate with celebrity stylists, influencers, media and key opinion leaders for custom designs and placements from the founders Network
From time to time: shoot assistance:
assist teams in briefing, managing, coordinating with creatives (photographers, videographers) to produce meaningful content
Represent the brand in an ethical, kind and intelligent way
Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience in Embroidery and Fashion Design
• Understanding of Fitting techniques
• Proficiency in working with Textiles and Fashion production
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Prior experience in a similar role is ESSENTIAL
