We're on the hunt for an Assistant Financial Accountant who's detail-oriented, analytical, and ready to grow their career. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering accurate financial information-through tidy general ledger journals, sharp bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and collaboration across the business to keep things ticking smoothly.

This role offers a lot of variety and the ability to really solidify your accounting fundamental knowledge, giving you a great opportunity to grow and develop your accounting career within a large finance team.

You'll achieve that by:

Delivering accurate and timely financial data and reconciliations
Supporting month-end close and year-end audit processes
Maintaining internal controls and supporting accounting compliance
Identifying areas for process improvement and contributing to smarter ways of working
Preparing financial statements and keeping key documentation up-to-date

With a head for numbers and a heart of learning and growing your career, you'll come with a couple of years practical experience where you've gained a solid understanding of accepted accounting practices, knowing the difference between a debit from a credit and balance sheet from a profit and loss statement.

Most importantly though you'll bring

A relevant tertiary qualification in finance
At least 1-2 years of work experience in a finance based role
A willingness to learn
The ability to navigate around and use Excel include pivot tables, sum if's and look ups
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
Impeccable attention to detail
