We are seeking a Junior Furniture Designer who will support our design team in creating unique furniture concepts while ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop sketches, technical drawings, and 3D models for new furniture collections.
• Assist in creating mood boards, design concepts, and product prototypes.
• Work closely with senior designers to translate ideas into production-ready specifications.
• Maintain a design library of materials, finishes, and furniture trends.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure feasibility of designs and adherence to brand standards.
• Support sampling and prototyping processes, making design adjustments as required.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's / Diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or Wood Technology.
• 1-3 years of experience in furniture or product design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or other 3D modeling software.
• Understanding of wood, materials, and joinery techniques.
• Strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production and management teams.
