Amplar Health Home Hospital which delivers SA Health’s My Home Hospital service, has become one of the first standalone virtual hospitals delivering acute care to be nationally accredited to the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
To date, Amplar Health Home Hospital has successfully delivered care to over 210,000 patients nationally. Through this achievement, we have showcased remarkable levels of patient experience, notable decreases in emergency department visits & significant cost savings for funders.
We specialise in delivering acute hospital-level services to patients in their homes. In collaboration with funders, we develop cutting-edge programs powered by clinical expertise and technology, all designed to relieve health system pressures and enable greater access to healthcare.
Your Opportunity
For the first time in South Australia, a city hotel will provide a new location for public hospital patients who no longer require acute care, to rest and recover in comfort at no cost – while freeing up beds for people who need them.
This new innovative model of care currently caters for up to 24 patients who have relocated from metropolitan and peri-urban hospital beds to the Pullman Adelaide, in their own rooms on one floor of the hotel.
We are now accepting applications for Assistant's In Nursing (AIN) to join our team in Adelaide to work across morning, afternoon and night shitt.. The role will work within a multidisciplinary environment where collaboration and patient centred care are at the forefront of everything we do. It will be in an alternative environment rather than a hospital setting. It will utilise innovative technology, be professionally stimulating, and rewarding.
About You:
Whether your starting out in your nursing career or looking to grow your clinical skills and gain experience this is a great opportunity to work within a supportive team.
Duties will include supporting patients, providing a range of personal care and assisting clinicians in a supervised environment.
What will set you apart from the rest?
Recent experience in a similar role (highly desirable)
A positive and proactive attitude
Experience in aged care/hospital or community setting in a similar position
We are offering both part time and full time contract positions. These positions are based onsite at the Pullman Hotel in Adelaide CBD part of the Transition Care Service delivered by Amplar Health Home Hospital.
