About the Role
Balmain Hospital is a community-based healthcare facility that has been caring for local people since 1885. It is dedicated to Aged Care, Rehabilitation and General Practice. Balmain Hospital is committed to providing the highest standards of healthcare to meet individual needs.
An Assistant in Nursing (AIN) works within a nursing plan of care under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and within the limits of the AIN position description and local policy and protocol.

Ideal Candidate
Holds HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care); or currently enrolled as a Nursing Student (with successful completion of at least two semesters) and previous experience working in an acute care facility.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work and contribute as a team member.
