We are currently seeking an Assistant Interior Designer to join our team. The Assistant Interior Designer will be an integral member of our Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) team, providing assistance on the interior design aspects of our FF&E projects. This is an entry-level position learning all aspects of our FF&E work.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Proficiency with Revit, Inspace, or SketchUp preferred.
Experience:
0-1 years’ experience in interior design; experience in military construction or hospitality construction preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in interior design preferred..
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintains design library by organizing and discarding materials as needed.
Obtains pricing and product data as requested by team members/designers.
Gathers materials and assembles design binders.
Prepares digital presentation materials.
Produces AutoCAD floor plan drawings, elevations, furniture layouts, and other pertinent drawings.
Creates production specification sheets in SPEXX.
Assists with project filing, archiving, and overall department organization.
Maintains updated specification sheets, design binders, etc. whenever fabrics or products are reselected or discontinued.
Researches and seeks new furniture, fixture and equipment options/vendors.
